Fret not, because today is your lucky day. Someone is going to teach you a low fat + diet recipe that doesn't make you puke or even wrinkle your nose, spaghetti aglio olio . And that nice[haha] person is...

Ok..Okkkkkkk, here are the ingredients to cook aglio olio
- Spaghetti or angel hair pasta[which ever you like]
- Garlic, the quantity depends on you but the more the better
- Button mushroom[fresh not canned]
- Asparagus
- Cili api [optional]
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Flat leaves parsley, chopped.
- Salt, of course
First of all, isn't pasta fattening? Hell no. Pasta has a low GI because of the physical entrapment of ungelatinised starch granules in a sponge-like network of protein (gluten) molecules in the pasta dough.
To have a good diet, make sure you choose the right pasta. I like Barilla because the carbo and the calories are low compared to the rest. And it doesn't stick to each other, unlike Saint Remo's. There is another brand which I love, a turkish brand but sadly I forgot the name and dah tak jual dah.
Ok. So this is how Barilla looks like and I prefer no 5 because it was not too thick nor thin.
I bought mine at Cold Storage since they have wide choices of stuff there.
Then, boil the pasta in err.. whataver u wish to boil it in.
Let it boils until the part dimana ianya menggelegak, then put some salt. This is to put some taste to your pasta, but not too much ok. When you did that, put the asparagus to boil together with the pasta.
I don't know about you but I love asparagus. They taste nicer if the dish is a bit plain compared to those with gravy. Now, keep an eye on the pasta to make sure it you get it al dente [firm to the bite] or not too soft . This is because, too soft pasta contains more..err kanji? So make it not too soft ok. After that, angkatla and tos kan.

Start heating the pan and do it using the lowest fire.Followed by adding the extra virgin olive oil. From my experience, Bertolli adalah brand yang paling best sebab it's rich but not too thick. Tapi hari tu aku gatal nak beli olive oil baru, ala-ala perasan espana pulakkan so I bought this brand. La Espanola. Adalah pekat ini dan sangat berminyak menyebabkan rasa tidak selesa dan kalernye lebih pekat juga.
Oh, botol air tu tak de kaitan ok. Somehow it got in the picture. Sheesh
A point to remember, olive oil is a good oil but it won't be any good jika dimasak dengan api yang besar. So make sure, you use the smallest fire
Then, masukkan galic and sautee. Sautee ialah teknik menggoreng dengan api kecik.[yang sangat kecik]. Sautee until the garlic turn yellowish and agak-agakla kan.

Then put in the button mushroom.I cut the mushroom into small pieces. You can smell a nice aroma masa ni. I can cut the mushrooms into bigger pieces but I have to add the quantity. Unless you are a non-horny person or have a partner to settle your bil air tertunggak, please do so :). Oh these two things can also be eaten with brown bread. Just add salt and it's ready to be eaten.

Ok, this one aku yang tambah sendiri sebab taste bud aku adalah taste bud melayu yang suka makan pedas.Walaupon adalah keji but it is more effective rather than adding chilli flakes. Gi mampusla kalau mat salleh tak buat pon, asal aku suke dahla.Hehe
Eh tetibe defensivela plak. Heeee. Anyway, I added few cili api to make it more pedas. The best is to use the red one [yang best bila buat sambal blacan tu] sebab dia lembut compared to the green ones, dahla cantik kaler merah plak tu kann but sekali yang merah takdela plak. Hijau pon hijaula. Boleh ajeeee, tapi kurang bestla.Kalau nak melaha[ err.. pedas gile sampai hilang akal] add more.Tapi aku rasa mcm tak best je.

You should put in the parsley next but takdela pulakkan masa aku beli ingredients so I did not put it. If you put too much, abisla pasta kau rasa kapur barus. Hehe.
Add a pinch of salt or even two. But don't add to much, masin gile nanti ok.
Finally, switch off the fire, add the pasta + asparagus and gaul kasik sebati. Ready to be served.

Anyway, even pasta is a good carbo, it doesn't mean boleh melantak bagai tak mahu. Hehe.
Ohh..ohh. Look what I had for dessert.

This is the chinese version of taufufa, not too sweet and the air gula tidak berlinang. so it's healthy and good for losing weight.
Ok. Actually I made that up, Aku tataula good for dieting ke tak tapi sebab aku suke sangat aku makanla..Haha.
But make sense kan, good for diet?:P
