Email

Received this email somewhere around Monday, last week.

Dear Sharina,

Writing this has not been easy. I started out with a very loose air. Tried to be a little funny (its the child in me that Ive been trying to kill for a very long time). But as I talked to you today, I felt what you later confirmed: that youve become immune to all attempts to interest you:) Youre indifferent, couldnt care less... harsh, blatant, as you say. Then again, maybe its just what youre trying to be. Maybe to scare off the hordes of admirers.

But maybe you also dont want people to measure and judge you. Maybe youre tired and sick with people who think theyve figured you out from your blogs and your smiles and your persona. Maybe even I am trying to understand you and you dont like it:)

I also cant help feeling somehow that Ive disappointed you. Even from last night, there was this huge pressure to perform for you, haha.

All the same, I guess I cant be sure and the only way to find out more is to stick around. And if you want to get rid of me, Im sure youll make it obvious ;)

So today at work was a funny Monday. I didnt get anything done after 12, on account of trying to chat with you. My boss wont be around for a while either, and I have a feeling Ill be seeking you out more this week. Anyway, thanks for the company, which is always
a welcome distraction. I feel so bored at work, sometimes. Tired with the routine, the politics, the people. Youre a breath of fresh, fresh air.

Ya, I know you dont like the flattery, too much sugar and words are easy to make up.

Thats the other thing too. I want you to know I do seriously find you very interesting, for reasons not very clear yet, also for obvious reasons. If I knew you wouldnt mind, Id be going overboard by now showing that. But I dont know your reactions, and so I try to be careful.

Thats as long as Ill write for now.

Really looking forward to next chats.

And I hope you havent muntah darah reading all of this :)

best,
Daniel

Nice email doesnt have to contain sugary words. Its how the expression flows and how the words being composed.

But most of how, how sincere and honest the word speaks to each other.

Simply make my day.

Happy Wednesday bunnies, hope your Wednesday will be great!
